SYNOPSIS
Non-fiction series that tells us about the 1990s in a carefree Spain eager for modernity and enrichment, and does so from the point of view of a series of businessmen who at that time took over the main football clubs in the country. Augusto César Lendoiro, Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, José María Caneda, Joan Gaspart and José María del Nido are the presidents who star in this story, extraordinarily popular men who, in addition to quick money, achieve unthinkable sporting successes for their clubs. All of them become authentic idols of the masses, until the sports results stop accompanying, financial problems appear and their decline begins.
This production, which goes beyond football, makes a social portrait of a time marked by machismo, violence and the culture of the ball. He also discovers the figure of Teresa Rivero, the first woman to become president of a First Division football club in Spain.
