SYNOPSIS
From the clandestine football team in the 1970s to the victory in the latest World Cup, women footballers in our country have faced many struggles and obstacles. We tell this story in the documentary “F Team: From Clandestine to Champions,” with never-before-seen footage that will help us understand the evolution of women’s football over the last 50 years.
Throughout their history, women footballers have demanded greater professionalism from both coaches and in their sporting conditions in order to be the best. These have been recurring issues over different decades until the World Cup victory, where the players gained visibility and used it to “shout to the world” about the changes they had been advocating for decades.
