SYNOPSIS
Documentary series of three episodes in which the rise, fall and redemption of a group of friends who dared to be different in a country that was still far from modern are narrated. From their beginnings as gogos in the underground Ibiza of the 80s, where they dazzled stars like Freddy Mercury, through their success in Latin America in the 90s, until their decline with the death of two of their members and the imprisonment of their founder Xavier Font.
It is also the story of the music industry from within, told by one of its great actors, José Luis Gil, a manager, producer and director who decisively influenced the history of Spanish music.
But, above all, “Locomía” is a love letter to the 90s, our last happy time, where we hosted the Olympics, a universal exhibition and in which we believed that, living to the fullest and dancing until dawn, we were going to change the world, but the world ended up changing us all.
